| I got to know Marcel van der Steen through my job, as a collegue. Jeroen van Agt usually attended Marcel’s birtday parties like I did. At that time I also ran a small computer store specialised in computer cooling hardware and power supply units. It was during this period that some experiments were being made to measure efficiency and phantom load / standby power of PSU’s. A couple of years later, more or less coincidentally, I found a new project and Jeroen and I became collegues. Because I also got interested in alternative energy and minimal energy consumption – and was regurlarly updated by both gentlemen about new developments regarding OliNo – I joined and started writing articles for OliNo. The rest is history… |
