I would consider using this lamp. However some of my applications require light at switch on and some of my applications do switch off and on very often, which make this lamp not the best choice. They even gave us coupons to purchase more of them and encouraged us to put them in our outside porch lights. Do you yourself use this one? I notice that it it dim when first turned on but then becomes quite bright in about 5 minutes or so.
